Welcome to my website, I am artist Michelle Tucker and you’ve reached my official online gallery.
I am a painter, I paint with oils on stretched canvas and canvas sheets. My favorite subjects include maidens, fairies, mermaids, animals, forest scenes and medieval settings. From my very first painting I have been highly influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite painters and nature. I strive for my work to be realistic with an element of fantasy.
I first began oil painting back in 1991, taking private lessons from the Countess Hope Marie Maki. In college I studied psychology, earning my Master’s degree in Psychology in 2002. In 2004 I joined the online art world through internet galleries and my website, and in 2005 I began selling my original oil paintings and art prints online.
I am a proud member of Epilogue, a juried member of EBSQ Plus and an EBSQ Award Winner. My work has been published in three art books and my original oil paintings can be found in private collections throughout the world.
